Went there for our Anniversary and I was very disappointed. This place is to French Food as the Daytona Cubs are to Professional Baseball. Downright Awful... and the service left a lot to be desired. ...Would rather have gone to McDonald's than this place. Run..don't walk from here. it's horrible.

This is not real french food, we ate here a few times, hoping to try different things. NO not french food, and you can wait over 1 1/2 hours just to get your food. They give large portions, but who cares not that good. And real french gives tiny excellent portions of food.

This first time we went in October 2013 the food was great. We enjoyed sitting outside. We have been there four more times since and each time the service and food got worse.

The service is awful. We ordered wine and the server bought us a different wine than ordered but told us "this" wine was good. It wasn't. She basically refused to take it back. Went there and waited 45 minutes for our order and was very disappointed. My husband got lamb and could not eat it due to all of the gristle it in. Like the setting, but will never return.

I had dinner with three of my friends tonight. I ordered the veal shank with risotto . My one friend ordered bouillabaisse and the other ordered steak. All our meals were excellent and the presentations were very nice. The service was very good and the waitress was very knowledgeable about each dish. I will defiantly eat there again.

We have only eaten here once but from time to time sit at the bar and have a glass of wine and an appetizer. We were shocked both on New Years Eve and again last week when we stopped to have a glass of wine and they actually measured it in a "yellow" plastic measuring cup. How tacky is that.? They could at least use the carafes that Outback and Carrabba's use I made mention of it both times and was told that's how they want us to do it. "Really?"

The restaurant is very pretty but much too big for a French Restaurant and the bright lights are a complete turnoff. A few changes could make this into a nice little intimate French Restaurant.

The food at Le Rendez-vous is excellent, but the service is very, very, very slow. We arrived at 5:15 pm and didn't leave until after 7:15 pm. It actually took 30 minutes to get a 2nd drought beer. I hope they can get their act together because so many businesses in the European Village have failed. As I said..... the food is excellent.

We were there last night, Valentine's Day, My husband and I. The food was good when you got it. We were the lucky ones, we got there early.

The service was very, very slow. They could not handle the people. Everyone was complaining. Some people walked out.

We have been there two other times, when they were not very busy. No complaints about the service then.

Disappointment with this one. The waiter had no idea of what he was doing. In one case I asked what came with the beef bourguignon.(meaning what sides?) ..he said it was a chicken leg with vegetables. HuH?

Several of us had a very hard time just getting a slice of lemon for our water. The meat was cooked quite well but the vegetables were hardly cooked at all and scant. I wouldn't go back to this place nor would I recommend it. I had heard negative reviews from others but I wanted to judge for myself.

Excellent choice of French appetizers, Entrees, and deserts. Special treatment by the owner made our evening extraordinary. Beautiful decor and the prices are reasonable for fine dining. Can't wait to go again.

Overpriced entrees (did not even include salad), wait staff had very poor knowledge of menu items, mashed potatoes were dry and tasteless, vegetables (one large carrot) was very unappealing! This place had better get their act together, or they will be history very shortly, unless the owners have plenty of cash to keep it going! I'm giving them the benefit of doubt with my 3-star overall rating, as I was tempted to make it 2-stars.

We just left the restaurant and were very pleased with the service and the food. There were six persons in our party and since the weather was mild we chose to sit outside. This is a very large restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Before meeting others in our party we had drinks at the bar where there were maybe 12 others enjoying their cocktails with snacks that were provided. For appetizers, we ordered the oysters, escargot and the goat cheese salad all of which were very good. Our entrees were the rack of lamb, lamb shank, stuffed calamari, seafood medley, scallops and shrimp combination and a fillet of beef. With the exception of the fillet of beef which was a little tough, the other entrees were excellent and the quantity was generous. The accompanying vegetables were delicious. Even the bread was good and fresh.

All in all this was a very good choice and had it not been for the beef being somewhat tough and the fact that the entrees came out at different times, I would have given it 5 stars.
