I love this place!! Consistently well made food and service. If I ask for eggs over medium that is what I get every time. This is the only place in Palm Coast that knows what over medium means. Not only that but once I was in the mood for eggs Benedict but it wasn't on the menu. The chef gladly made it just for me and the hollandaise was fresh and delicious. Great sandwiches too. They do it all with great quality ingredients and they care about your experience. The dining room is so cute and bright also. Lots of great local art on the walls that you can buy. I love any place that supports local art. They even have a family restroom in addition to the ladies and mens rooms and they are always spotless. I've ordered food to go and they have it ready quickly. They will even deliver to my office quickly and with a smile. Thanks Grace!!

Been a long time resident of Palm Coast. Heard about Grace's Place and was excited because we don't have a lot of restaurants. Went to lunch around 1:30. We walked in and looked around expecting to see a sign as to whether we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves. Nothing. We saw a bunch of employees rushing around, but no one to greet us. Even the people behind the deli counter didn't even to offer assistance to us. We finally asked the deli counter employee if we could just seat ourselves and they said yes. We found a table. We were greeted by our waitress and brought our drinks. From there on out, our experience worsened. After placing our order it took over 45 minutes for 1 "special ed" sandwich and 1 cobb salad to be made. Granted there was a large order put in right before our's, but still 45 minutes? We weren't brought our sides, we had to ask for our potato salad, french fries, and our dipping sauce, all which were ordered with the meal. Then I realized that my sandwich was a BLT. We told the waitress that the turkey was missing. She apologized and in 5 minutes brought out a plate of cut up turkey and stated "if the kitchen had to remake the sandwich, it would take 20 minutes, so here, I brought out the turkey to add"! I was appalled. Not to mention that a Special Ed sandwich is basically a Club which should have also had Ham on it. But we didn't say anything because we were so shocked that she brought us out our own turkey to add to the sandwich. If I had wanted to make my own sandwich, I would have stayed home. But we DIDN'T want to wait another 20 minutes, so we just added it. We were told that they would comp our sandwich since it was messed up. We said ok, that works.

The avocado on our cobb salad was hard as a rock. Could barely chew it. I understand that avocados can be seasonal, but take them off the menu/salad during those times of the year. She didn't bring us the right salad dressing for our cobb salad and when we asked for the correct kind, she came back minutes later to tell us there were "out of blue cheese dressing". Seriously, had we known that, we may have pick something else on the menu. But again, we weren't going to send anything back because we were starving.

We repeatedly heard the servers apologizing to their tables because the 8 person table that came in was holding all the orders up. We finish eating and we look around waiting for our bill. We waited 20 minutes for our server to bring us our bill. Again, she apologized because the 8 person table was slowing everything down. She hands us the bill stating that they comped our drinks for the long wait. She completely forgot to comp the sandwich but we ate it, so whatever. We just wanted to leave.

I will never go back. Worst experience ever at a sandwich shop.

I first tried this place about a month after they opened. It has been awhile and I thought I would give it another chance. However, once again I was disappointed. When I first walked in to purchase a simple buttered bagel, the girl at the counter had her back to me and did not even recognize my presence for nearly 2 minutes or so. What I found was the same experience as the first time I tried them. I ordered a cinnamon-raisin buttered, untoasted bagel. Their bagels sell at $.60 for a bagel with nothing on it. They charge $1.79 plus tax for a buttered bagel. The bagel was stale and had garlic flavor mixed in where it had touched other bagels. The butter appeared to have been left out overnight and had spots turning rancid. For the additional charge of $1.19 for the butter, one would expect, not only fresh butter, but to have the butter put on the both sides in a fair quantity. The girl smeared this butter on the bagel's one-side and mushed the other side into it. If I had to guess, I would say the total amount of butter was about one teaspoon, if that. A pound of butter in the grocery store is an average of around $2.60. Commercially purchased butter should cost less than that. Yes I understand overhead very well, but . . .

Bagels were not cooked properly. probably too much flour or something - dry, almost stale-like. dense. not chewy like boiled bagels should be. served cold hot chocolate. fried chicken was like a baked chicken tender. ceiling was dripping near our table - not fixed during our entire meal. place was pretty. appeared clean. waitress gave us our receipt, took so long coming back that we went to the front to pay - told to sit back down and wait for our waitress. disappointing. Miss Best Bagels and Deli too.

It took me awhile to come here after it changed names but I was very surprised and happy to see a new brighter decorum. The employees, some even from the old store, look sooo much happier then they used to. The food is about the same to what it was before so it is still very good. Service from what I was told wasn't doing as well as before but they were very fast and efficient when my wife and I ate around 1:00pm. I guess they are just getting more into the swing of things. I noticed she is supporting local artists by decorating her walls with their paintings which I think is amazing since it is so hard to advertise stuff like that in a town like ours. Over all I just have to say the food is wonderful, I love being greeted as I walk in with a smiling face, and I love how Joe, I believe, always knows what I want and sometimes even has it ready for me before I'm even through the door.

So glad to see all the friendly faces at Grace's place. From the first time we went in there the people were very warm and welcoming. The service is good and the food is great especially the cucumber salad. The bagels are the best.
So are all the other goodies.

We are so glad that Grace's Place is opened. The bagels are BACK! We missed those NY boiled bagels. The place looks so good. Its fresh and clean, lively and very friendly. The stuffed french toast is to die for! It should be on the menu everyday. The portions are huge and the quality is great. Good Job.

I have been in there many times since the doors opened back up. I normally do take out but have sat down a couple times with great service from Carol both times. I also love the friendly service they have at the front counter. I almost never have to even make an order anymore. Joe knows exactly what i want and has it in his computer before i even walk up to the counter. Definitely will be going back and would definitely reccommend it.

We wanted to like the food at Grace's, unfortunately the food and service could have been much better. It was not busy so there was no reason for the sloppy service. Challah french toast was a special and it was very dry. The other special was a chicken sandwich, it was served with what looked to be old, dried out macaroni salad and fries that were supposed to be seasoned but were hardly even salted, never mind seasoned. Someone ordered the chef salad with no cheese and vinagrette, the salad was supposed to be spring mix. The salad came with cheese, romaine lettuce and some other dressing. They took it back and unrolled the cheese/meat rolls, took out the cheese and sloppily semi rolled them back up. The cheesecake that was served with the chicken sandwich special was large but once again dry around the edges and the whipped cream on top had turned. We wish it could have been better but no one was even walking around to see if people were liking their lunch. Too bad:(

I love the Greek Salads very fresh greens and tomatoes. Also the lobster bisque soup is the greatest. I always find everyone is very friendly and helpful. The bagels are the best in the county. I really hope all goes well for Grace and business picks up. Folks in town must realize if you want quality it costs just a little more. Remember you get what you pay for.

We have been going to Graces since it opened, most of the orig. servers are back and we always ask for two of them. Grace has added a few men to clear tables and assist the servers which I like and feel most places lack. Some of the quality has been hit or miss for a new place which can be a problem when just starting out. I feel Grace needs to be out on the floor to make sure things are going right and to answer customer questions.I hope Grace has the financial backing to hang in there when times are slow. Needs to do more advertising to get the word out to the community to gain customer support. Good Luck to them.

Took my wife in for mothers day breakfast and couldn't be more disappointed. The prices are very high and my bagel sandwich was thrown on a plate with no garnish. One slice of bacon cut into 3 pieces. The bagels seemed small and the service was atrocious. It seemed very disorganized. We waited about 20 minutes after being seated to be offered a cup of coffee. Will never be back.
