Great Wall Chinese Restaurant UNCLAIMED

We have been ordering from about once a week for a few years now and apart from the occasional error everything has always been very good. We like the flavors and the food is very plentiful and good value for money. The atmosphere is of the usual dull strip mall storefront but service is always with a smile with gratitude.

Everything here was absolutely outstanding and delicious. The staff was kind and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I come here all the time and would definitely recommend it.

This is usually my go to Chinese take out place, I love the online ordering and the delivery but today I stopped in to grab some takeout for dinner and was a little upset by a few things I saw in the kitchen.

First I was watching a young man making little dumplings with his bare hands no gloves and whatever he was making was being squeezed between him fingers al gooey just not something I would want to eat being made like that. But worse than that a man was chopping some vegetables and I saw him drop 3 pieces on the floor. Big chunks of something. I was already watching intently and could not believe my eyes when I saw him reach down pick it all up and thrown it back in the pan. The floor is not exactly sparkling.

I really like the food here and normally I leave only good reviews on places like trip advisor but I wanted to make people aware of this. The lady who I presume owns the place saw my face and kept looking back there but I don't think she caught on. Just a heads up!! :-/

I miss China Express in the old Palm Harbor shopping center but this place isn't too bad. We ordered here for a large group on New Years Eve, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food. Not quite as flavorful as China Express used to be but I'd still order from here again. Service was OK and prices about the same.

Outstanding food! We've order a dish or two from this restaurant before and then order for a group of five today. Every dish was excellent, cooked quickly and fresh, and the portions were hearty. All of the staff was friendly. We purchased the following food items and would recommend all of them: chicken teriyaki appetizer (four came in an order), crab rangoons, egg rolls, shrimp with broccoli and garlic sauce, chicken with broccoli and garlic sauce, pork lo mein (not too oily), shrimp in lobster sauce, chicken chop suey, and substituted a couple of the white rices for fried rice. Every item was delicious and everyone enjoyed the food. We would highly recommend!

Ordered online so I'm not sure how the atmosphere was. I ordered chow mein. I was given chop suey. I didn't realize until after the delivery person had left that they had given me the wrong food. To be honest, I didn't eat much of it because I don't particularly like chop suey.

I called in my order and went to pick it up. The woman at the front desk was rude - I had asked for an additional crispy noodles and because my order was large- I was met with hostility. This is a "cut corners' Chinese restaurant- You will get the bare minimum of what you order. If it is chicken, pork or beef it will be diced into miniscule pieces. I was hungry when I finished my dinner.
