My friend and I had lunch here last week. We ordered different dishes and both were too salty. We thought their prices were very reasonable and you did get plenty of food. Unless they lighten up on the salt, we won't be going back.

I love Mexican food but I was very disappointed with the special. Today it was enchiladas. There was so much sauce everything like the beans the flour tortillas tasted the same the meat and chicken had an awkward taste like if it came out of a can and it was all soggy. The waiter seemed like a nice young man but not such a good waiter. He forgot my drink order and remembered when I was half way through my chips. The chips and pina colada I order were very good. The waiter said the chef made it himself.

Over all very disappointed. Will not be going back even with all those good reviews.

Awesome food and the prices are not bad at all! I enjoy fresh Mexican and was very impressed with this restaurant. This has become our go-to place for Mexican in Palm Coast.

It's about time we got another good Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast! After the closing of Mis Amores, I was afraid we were back to just having "pretenders"--those "wannabe" Mexican restaurants that look the part but don't have a clue about authentic and tasty recipes.

El Cancun has an ambitious and varied menu, with lots of choices and reasonable prices. And the service was cheerful and efficient! Having grown up in the Southwest and traveled all over Mexico, I have high standards for Mexican food and was not disappointed at El Cancun. I found my combination plate to be very good and look forward to trying lots of other things on their menu--the fajitas really looked and smelled delicious, so that will likely be my next order. I hope Palm Coasters will give them a try--now that we have a Mexican eatery worth going to, let's be sure to keep them in business. Bien hecho y buena suerte, El Cancun!

I tried Salsa's and Los Amigos and this is by far the best Mexican food and service. Salsa's tastes like a TV dinner compared to here... food seems much more fresh and certainly more flavorful. The atmosphere is nice and staff are friendly and attentive. Can't beat their carafe of salsa and chips either! Overall a great little Mexican restaurant worthy of your custom.

Overheard a chef at another location mentioning the food at this restaurant. My husband and I decided to give it a try. I had the Pollo con Rajas. Excellent! and very flavorful. Tiras de polle for my husband, equally as tasty. The atmosphere was upbeat with lively Mexican music. Service was great. We will be going there again for sure.

We're happy to of found this place. We went for lunch and back again for dinner another day, and both times were very good. I took a take out menu an dordered for lunch today and it was good too. But my only complaint was that the text on the take menu menu is so small I couldn't read it, even with my glasses on! They need to make a better versiuon, but apart from that I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I dined here recently and we were pleasantly surprised. We expected a "fast-food" type restaurant, but it is very nicely decorated with booths and tables. The food and service were excellent. We ordered the Burrito al Pastor and Carne Asada Tacos. Both excellent! Give it a try ~~~ hopefully you will also enjoy it!

From my experience of other local Mexican restaurants I didn't have very high hopes for this one. But I was very pleasantly surprised. Visited with my wife for dinner this evening and we had a fantastic meal. Our server, Riccardo, was excellent and all staff members pitched in when necessary which is good to see. The menu has all the typical Mexican dishes and combo meals in every possible combination, but the food is delicious! Portions were generous and prices reasonable. Decor is cliched Mexican and is bright, cheery and comfortable.

They're definitely trying very hard at this restaurant and it's well worth giving them a chance. You won't find better Mexican food in Palm Coast.

Checked this place out for lunch today.... the restaurant is kind of hidden unless you visit that center you wouldn't really know it was there. It's nice inside and we were shown to a comfortable booth. Their complimentary chips and salsa are very good and the salsa is served in a carafe which is a nice touch. We had a lunch special each and both tasted great. The portions were ample and great value at an average of $5.50 each! Our server was Riccardo and he did a great job and made us feel appreciated which is rare in Palm Coast these days! Bravo!

Saw this listed on here and thought we'd give it a chance and glad we did. They have what I think is the best Mexican food around plus the restaurant and staff are all very nice. The portions are generous and the flavors are excellent. We would like to of been given the opportunity to order our food spicier though which we'll ask for next time. This is hidden away but worth seeking out.

Very clean, spacial, and friendly. I was a huge Mis Amores fan (until they closed down) which resulted me into trying here. The service was better than Mis Amores but the food was OK compared to MA. However, it was very fresh and hot... just not the taste I was expecting (which wasn't bad but since I have been an avid fan of Mis Amores, I am a bit bias).
I say give this place a try and see for yourself.

Just visited here for the first time for lunch. It's bigger than I thought inside and is nicely decorated with standard Mexican theme and colors, but it's nice and bright and clean. We were seated at a booth which was quite uncomfortable. We were given the usual complimentary chip and salsa which were very good. The salsa is served in a carafe which is nice and the chips tasted very fresh. We ordered from the menu's lunch specials and both of our meals were delicious. Mine came with rice and beans, both of which tasted great, and the burrito and it's sauce were excellent. Portions were a good size and offered value for money. The server was efficient, but she wasn't very friendly and it would been nice to of felt more welcome and appreciated. Overall though we enjoyed our lunch and will go again. Their menu is large and I'd like to try some of their other dishes.

This is a very delicious family restaurant to eat at. i am very pleased with the service, food and quantity of the plates. they have great options to choose from. i am very satisfied with El Cancun Restaurant, i went with my boyfriend today and as soon as i walked in i was welcomed by a very nice waiter, they made me feel at home. we were seated and asked fro our drinks and brought chips and salsa as soon as we sat down they were freshly made and the salsa was great. not too hot and not to simple. our waiter then came and asked for our drinks and were brought immediately we were offered the special and if we had any questions on the menu. we were stunned by the variety of options they have in a menu and were told they have more than 300 plates to choose from. we were taken our order and in less then maybe 15 or 10 minutes our plates were in front of us i was satisfied with the quantity of food those plates had and at the end i had to get to-go boxes for us. i am also very content that not only do they offer good Mexican food but they are getting their liquor license very soon and i guaranteed them i will be back for those margaritas at the end i enjoyed my stay at this great Mexican Restaurant and i am 100% sure i will be coming often to eat here. i wish them the best in their new location.

Awesome authentic Mexican food. I come from the West where real Mexican food is more abundant and I have finally found something comparable. They have lunch specials for 5-7 dollars and the portions are huge when you include the big bag if chips and fresh homemade salsa that comes with the order. They even have the green tomatillo salsa that I loved having to compliment a delicious chicken burrito. So many things to choose from on the menu, I look forward to trying all the dishes out.
