Review of Salsas Mexican by TAG from Palm Coast
Went out with 3 coworkers and we were very easy going, ordered drinks and food. There were no complaints and no take backs, but when it came time for the bill the waitress decided upon herself to put an 18% gratuity on everyone's bill even though on the menu it states an 18% gratuity is added to the bill on parties of six or more. First of all, I was a server and because of that I always tip 20% and if the service is beyond amazing I'll even do more. So when my coworker asked the server why an 18% gratuity was added when there's only four of us she said "well it was like I was serving 6." Excuse me, but what? We weren't needy, we didn't complain, we weren't nasty and for her to say that was the last straw. My coworker told her she WILL take that off everyone's bill which she did. Everyone was going to tip her good, but because of her attitude she got less. Her service wasn't even 18% worthy, but I still gave it to her because I'm not going to sink to her level of pettiness. Floor manager... Teach your servers better than that because now you've lost four customers and we'll be taking our business to Cantina Louie.

They appeared to have scaled back their menu and increased the prices! Food was still good with good flavor but service seemed slow and the whole vibe feels different. I know staffing problems are common everywhere right now and I like the food here so hope this is just a slump phase and they bounce back.

Long wait at the other place so came down here. Not as hip but more traditional. Food was reasonable and portions of good size. No problem changing a couple of things on my dish which was nice. Service kind of slowish especially for drinks but it was taco Tuesday! Outside sitting area is nice. Prices are good here too.

Went last night and nothing to complain about at all. Top notch all round! Food was delicious and service friendly and fast. Loved all the flavors and incredible drinks. Fun atmosphere and prices very competitive.

Being of Mexican descent myself Salsa's is probably the best place in Palm Coast. Cantina Louie's lacks serious flavor and their drinks are pricey, whereas at Salsa's you get a two-for-one Margarita. Service is pretty decent.
Highlight of visit: I do like their chicken enchiladas and I usually order the queso dip and also their milanesa is good.

Although Salsa's doesn't have the ambiance of Cantina Louis I do much prefer its food. You can tell it's more authentic as this is where you see all the Mexican workers eating at lunchtime, and not Cantina Louis. Their street tacos are awesome especially the Taco al Pastor and their Mojarra tilapia dish is a must try. Never had a problem with service and nice outside area.

Ordered beef burrito, beef taco and beef enchilada from take out. Taco was bean and cheese only. Enchilada only had cheese. The beef in the burrito had a strange metal Taste. Threw the whole meal in the trash.

I've noticed an improvement since I was there about 18 months ago. The food back then was not very good but today's wasn't bad at all and service was better too. It's still very American style Mexican but the flavors were nice and we had a good meal. Beers very cold at a good price and it was clean. Patio is nice to it out at.

Went in on a busy Friday dinner hour, promptly seated and service was very attentive and speedy. Their food is very good authentic Mexican food and is a great value. Lunch specials are also fantastic, you get a lot of food for the price.... always a doggie bag. This is our go to place for great Mexican. Atmosphere is pretty good with lots of culture, colored painted booths, etc.... would highly recommend.

As others are saying the food here is definitely more tasty and authentic (and cheaper) than at Cantina Louie's but doesn't have as good a atmosphere or quality of service. But neither of the latter are bad just not very vibrant and staff here are efficient just very direct, it's also showing a lot of signs of wear on the booths etc. I really like Salsa's food though and they do some great seafood dishes. Make sure you also get a Daiquiri!

Although I prefer the atmosphere and service at Cantina Louie's, Salasas has them beat on flavor. The food here is just more flavorful and authentic. Cocktails are reasonable and beers cold. Service depends on which server you get as some are good and some lazy. Big menu of standard Mexican food and I usually do the Create Your Own Combo so I get a variety. Good Churros too!

This place is getting desperate for customers since Cantina Louis opened that they're letting anyone or anything go there. No more masks required, no more cleansing tables, etc., between customers, and just lackluster service and food. Unless they up their game, Salsa's has had it's run in Palm Coast.

Out of all the Mexican restaurants around here I'd put Salsa's at the bottom. Not that's it's bad but the food just doesn't taste as good as the others, however they do have the largest portions. Their drinks are OK but too sweet. Service is fast but don't expect too much attention. With two better choices for Mexican food nearby and in Flagler Beach and Bunnell, I doubt I'd go back here. I don't recommend for that reason but you may prefer.

Great to finally dine out at a restaurant. I must admit that Salsa's was not my first choice but it was Taco Tuesday so went for it. Sat outside and I think a few tables may of been removed, but everyone was far away from each other. Service was OK and food decent. Drinks cheap and strong enough lol Just good to slowly start interacting again.

Pickup up several items for the family and everything was really good except for the salsa. Don't know what went wrong as I've had it here many times, but it tasted very acidic and bitter today. So half star off for an other wise good meal. Ordering and pickup was seamless.

No problem with ordering and picking up curbside. Everything went smooth and food was very good. Will order regularly as long as they're offering the service.

Visit here often for our Mexican fix and for the most part always get pretty good food and reasonable service. So it's not the most authentic Mexican food with nothing very original, but I find it delicious and the drinks are very good. Service when busy can get slow. Atmosphere nice.

I like the atmosphere and drinks here but prefer the food at Mr. Panchos. Salsa's food has a more processed taste but their drinks are very good and they're always offering deals. Service not the best at either. However, I think both restaurants will have a big challenge once Cantina Louie opens.

Always very busy when we go but lately noticed it getting dirtier and in need of cleaning. Service has also fallen off... good at first then once you get your food it drops off. Food is very typical American style Mexican with big portions. Drink specials are good especially when they have two for ones.

Visited tonight for Taco Tuesday and although busy we got served straight away and food was delivered fast. Everything was yummy and tasted freshly made. Good deal on margaritas! Decor has some nice touches and a big bar. We liked it a lot here and will come back.
