I moved to Flagler County in 2000. This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had in this county. I am not even a fan of Italian food but thought everything was delicious. We had a Pizzette for an appetizer. YUM. I had the Salmon for dinner. By far the best salmon I have ever had EVER. Tiramasu for dessert was to die for. Everyone had a great meal and the service was Great. I cannot wait to go back. Even the atmosphere was great.

Went there for lunch with some friends yesterday for the first but not last time. Found the atmosphere very pleasant and great menu and wonderful food. The service was very good but was a tad disappointed that we were not offered fresh grated cheese at the table. Was having such a good time and enjoying our meal that I forgot to ask the waitress so I own part of that.

My wife and I dined here on June 13th for our 19th wedding anniversary. Although there are many places to celebrate a special day I chose the Tuscan Grille because of what I had read about the place. Let me say that I have been in the restaurant business for many many years and most of my experience is managing the front of house operations. I am a service person. I can accept a bad meal if the service is good. Everyone has a bad day food wise.

I thought that the food was good. Even a little better than good and well above most other Italian places in Flagler with the exception of the bread. It came out cold and stale. Unfortunately I felt the service was reminiscent of a pizzeria. My wife and I were sitting on the same side of the table, a four top, when our appetizer arrived, (sausage and broccoli rabe, great dish) it was placed on the far side of the table by someone other than our server. I literally had to stand up to reach it so we could bring it in front of us. I then had the pleasure of watching the bus boy clean tables by picking up multiple glasses at a time, yes with his fingers in the glass and then reset the tables with his thumbs right smack in the middle of the B & B plate. Please use a tray to clear. Then there was an employee eating at the register while another was emptying all the pepper shakers at the bar within 1 chair of dinner guests. Is there not a server area to do side work.

The other part I do not understand is why at dinner time some tables have white table cloths and others have paper place mats ( mine). I was told that the tables with the cloths were not as pretty as the others. Please, I am paying the same money as the next table, why can't I have a tablecloth.

Lastly, I keep reading on here about the owner going table to table, well while I waited a fairly long time for our server to take my credit card to charge it as she, other servers and aforementioned owner gathered around the register it was not until we were ready to leave that he passed by and asked how everything was. This was the first time he acknowledged us.

Will I return, probably but it will be for lunch. I can only hope that some day the service will be on pace with the food.

My wife and i visited on June 20th for dinner. I ordered the scrod with angel hair and salad. We started with bread and drinks. The salad was next and although quite small was tasty. The dinner came out almost 50 minutes later. The fish was very chewy and not fresh. The pasta with spinach and tomatoes was bland, lacking any spices. I had a lot of water in my plate!

My wife had butternut squash ravioli.. the tomato sauce was bland lacking spices. Her minestrone soup was salty but hot. Overall it was a disappointment.

Our original seating was in a room full of a party of 10 and the noise in the small room was overwhelming. We had to ask to be moved. The prices are high. We paid 43.00 including the tip for the 2 dinners, one beer and one Pelegrino. Also a small boy, maybe 9 or 10 yrs old was the busboy and bread server. I found that odd but for Florida and their employment practices, anything is possible.

Comment from at The Tuscan Grille - Who is The Tuscan Grille you ask?! We are the "new kids on the block". We cater to locals, tourists, family's, and the "snowbirds"! I have learned over the last ten months that each person that walks through our door is as unique and as individual as our menu. Each palate is as unique and individual as the person. We try our best to please everyone, but on some occasions it's not possible. Everyone has there own opinion and they are entitled to it!! We accept that. To give everyone a little information about us and to clear up "the child labor" joke let me introduce us. My name is Dawn, I am one of the 4 owners here. My husband is Miguel and he is the chef. My uncle Michael is the "host with the most"! You may know him from the I.A. club in Palm Coast. Kathryn is my aunt and partner. Between us, we have 7 children!! And yes they all are there at some point, but mostly they are all there together! Our children are a huge part of our business and we wouldn't have it any other way. They are as unique and individual as our customers! Each child likes to "work" in a specific part of the business. Victoria, the oldest of the seven does many things, from hosting to busing to making dessert in the kitchen. Nicholas, also hosts, buses, and helps in the kitchen. Noelle and Elizabeth both love to hide out in the kitchen and help anyway possible(we guess that's so they can text on their phones!!) Bella, she's the very intuitive girl that sells all those wonderful desserts. Christian, he's the hard working one that loves to talk to people and clean the tables. And Aryanna the baby of the bunch, she just helps grandma by taking the tickets from the printer. If I didn't mention, my mother makes all the salads and helps prep. My brother in law and cousin help my husband cook. And my brother makes all the breads and pizza. In addition to being the owners, Kathryn and myself bake all those desserts that Bella sells. We are a hard working family trying to please many different people, with different opinions and different palates!! What we have learned is that we won't please everyone, no matter how hard we work!!

Found it just by luck driving by one day & decided to try it for dinner that night. The food was amazing (& we have been in a LOT of Italian restaurants) The prices were really surprisingly reasonable. We are from NY but come to Flagler several times a year. We have gone there on our own, friends have given us gift cards and we have taken other friends there. Everyone in agreement. We'll be there tomorrow night!

The menu was extensive and they accommodated requests easily. Service was excellent and the owner making rounds is always a plus. The food was delicious. Make sure to save room for dessert - the chocolate tea cups and mousse were my daughters favorite. The carrot cake and cheesecake were also scrumptious. A welcome improvement from average Italian dining.

Best food in Flagler! Romantic but family friendly located right on A1A overlooking the water. Fills up fast so get there early or make a reservation. The homemade gorganzola gnocchi was amazing smothered in a mushroom cream sauce, soooo good! Going back tonight!

We finally went to The Tuscan Grille in Flagler Beach after hearing our friends rave about it for months. My friends Tony and Diane brought us their yesterday and there was nothing we didn't enjoy. Service, atmosphere, price and the flavors of Italy out of this world. Recommended highly.

This was a pleasent surprise on Flagler Beach. I have heard friends rave about the place for months but we finally were able to go this evening. The food was terrific along with the service. It was such a nice touch when the chef made his rounds to say thank you. Not really a dessert person but we ordered a carrot cake to split that was out of this world. As for pricing very fair and well worth every penny. Not sure how busy they are normally as we made reservations but after this evening I would wait outside till they cold serve us. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and a fantastic evening. We will see you again soon.

The food is wonderful. My husband and I had lunch there on Monday. I had the Lasagna and he had Chicken DiTuto (sp) and we both loved our meals. There was enough lasagna for both of us to eat for lunch yesterday.

We had a delightful waitress Penny and had a table for two at the window with a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.

I can't find one negative thing to say about this place after my fourth visit.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I decided to try The Tuscan Grille again to see if any thing has changed. I have been there 3 times for dinner and twice for lunch and never have bee disappointed. This time I ordered the Shrimp Pomodoro Which was excellent. I was glad t o see business as usual - busy. The staff is attentive and never too busy to answer questions. Overall - a wonderful dining experience!

I have been there as a diner and have also done take-out. Tonight's take-out was a major disappointment, I called and ordered Chicken Marsala. Expecting a brown sauce. What I got when I got home was what I would describe as a Chicken Francaise. I called to tell them how disappointed I was and he said it was the chef's interpretation. Really? I'm very disappointed and feeling they are getting the former Pasta Pasta attitude. Who needs that? No, so sorry I was very disappointed. With attitude. Who needs that? Not going back there any time soon.

The food was amazing. The service was great. I had Chicken Sorrentino and could not finish it all. Desserts are to die for!! All fresh made from family recipes. I will go back next time I am in Florida! It is hard to find "real homestyle Italian cooking" but The Tuscan Grille gets my vote!

All good things are worth waiting for - once again turns out to be true. This trendy newcomer has taken Flagler fine dining by storm. Reservations are almost always a MUST and are best made 2-3 days ahead. it's great to enjoy classic Italian food at it's best, prepared masterfully with fresh quality ingredients. The Gorgonzola Gnocchi served with brandy mushroom cream sauce were exquisite. I Could have had my choice of the usual suspects including Lasagne, Baked Ziti or even seafood far diavolo. . There are also plentiful Veal dishes including Marsala, Piccata, Genoese, Parmigiana. I was tempted. Instead I thought I'd take a chance that maybe, just maybe these guys might really know what they are doing. THEY DO!! The gnocchi were hand made and redolent with Gorgonzola. The mushrooms were perfectly fresh and plentiful. The entire dish came together in a wonderful true cream sauce that caressed the Gnocchi and mushrooms, garnished with fresh Basil, In another life I enjoyed frequent expense account lunches at Manhattan,s finest Italian restaurants. The Tuscan Grill is right up there with the best of them. A welcome addition, perhaps a new standard bearer in Flagler fine dining.

It's much nicer inside here than I thought it would be and I was very happy with the attentive and friendly service. Food did take a while to arrive but it was busy and we had no problem enjoying our company and the atmosphere. Our party all ordered different dishes and we all though they were very good. Portion sizes were very generous and prices reasonable. I would like to see more grilled items on the menu like they offer at Carrabba's but apart from that, I highly recommend you try The Tuscan Grille.
