We have quite a choice of Mexican restaurants here now. It would be easier to make a choice if some weren't very good, but each offer something else over the other and I have enjoyed them all. Los Amigos was the last one I tried and like the others the inside was nice and very "south of the border" and the menu included all the usual combos of enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, etc. But Los Amigos also offers some more Cuban inspired selections which is what we ordered and were very good. The girl serving was professional and overall we had a very good meal at a reasonable price. I recommend you try Los Amigos.

I will not lie and pretend I know everything about Mexican and Cuban Cuisine. But I know what I like, and I definitely like Los Amigos. The food is delicious with generous portions, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Try #5... not quite sure the name of it, but it was a unique combo of steak, ham, and cheese. There is something for everybody here! The only fault I would give this place is location. Way down Old Kings road it is easy to overlook. But don't... and you can thank me later!

My wife and I just finished dining at Los Amigos. We have dined there once before. My first meal there was definitely better than this one. On my first visit I ordered the beef fajitas. They were good, but not great. I was disappointed in the smallish portion. The fajitas do not come with rice and beans and I left the restaurant still hungry. Today's dining experience was not one of the better ones. The salsa served with chips was very thin, not very flavorful- I had to add a lot of hot sauce. My entree was the pork carnitas. The guacamole was served with a lot of fresh cilantro on top. I know- I'm supposed to love cilantro if I'm eating Mexican- but I don't- I hate it. Since the menu didn't say anything about fresh cilantro, I asked the waitress for guacamole without it. I was informed that the chef says it always comes that way- Bummer. (But later the waitress brought some guacamole without the cilantro- must have been magic). The pork was an average portion but it was dry and grisselly. The rice and refried beans were good, but not great. So, overall, there was just nothing there that screams, "I can't wait to eat there again". I love the feeling when you are leaving a restaurant and you feel so good about everything-you know you picked the right place- this restaurant didn't give me that feeling.

The first time we visited we had a great experience, waitress was great, food, drinks, all of the above. We returned a second time, we both decided to try something different, one meal was a complete rip off as far as the portion, and my meal well I did not care for it was blah, I told the waitress I did not care for it, so she asked would I like something different? So I chose what I had the last time. Well we get out bill and the first meal is still on there..... I ask why? Since it was not "bad" and I just did not care for it I still had to pay. The person that was I guess the manager would not come out to speak with us? The waitress was upset cause they would not handle the situation... they made her call the owner at the other location, well his response was oh well to bad.... so I paid the bill cause I was not going to make the waitress be responsible for it... needless to say she got her tip, it was not her fault they don't understand english and can not come and deal with there customers. But I will NEVER go back for lack of customer care!!

I will make this simple. This is the best Mexican and or Cuban restaurant in this area. The food was outstanding with great service. We will go again.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant twice with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had lunch there once, and dinner once, having different dishes each time and each was delicious. The service was very good and the atmosphere is nice. Yes, we would visit again -- soon -- and we will bring others with us.

When dining at this restaurant we had the worst experience ever that continued even days later. The waiter consistently mixed up our order with the one other table he had. At one point he brought the wrong beer. We told the waiter that we had drank from it. He promptly took the glass to the bar and had them "top it off" and then took it to the correct table. This was right in our hearing and view. We found a hair in the fried ice cream and have been told over and over that it couldn't be that it was the honey. This same waiter also made it a point to tell someone at another table about how much he hates Palm Coast. Hopefully no one thinking of relocating or bringing a business to the area overheard it. A couple days after the experience when checking our account we found that someone had changed the amount of tip that we had written on our slip by $5. When speaking to the manager on the phone he insisted that is how it was written on the slip and again that the hair was honey. Horrible treatment from the waiter to the manager. We are dreading going in to pick up the returned "overcharge" as he is calling it.

The service was fast, friendly and the food was great... this Mexi-Cuban combo works for me. Does anyone think they might start serving Cuban sandwiches? I did not see that on the menu.

This is a good restaurant let down by the details... its booths are broken and rocky, the toilet seat in the ladies room is busted in half, and service was sluggish. Food was very tasty and prices are very reasonable, but fix the little things and this will be a good place.

We have been to Los Amigos several times for lunch and dinner. The Mexican and Cuban dishes are very tasty. We especially like the salsa and chips - best around!!! Entrees are large and come with your choice of three sides. Try the number 13, you won't be sorry!

My wife, son and I went to Los Amigos tonight. We have been to every Mexican restaurant in Flagler County over the past six years. Los Amigos was the best Mexican food experience we have had in Florida ever. The service was great, people were friendly and the food was incredible. The guacamole was fresh and amazing, the meat was seasoned perfectly and the salsa perfect. I could go on and on but you get the idea this place is amazing and we will be telling everyone that they have to go there.

I wish Los Amigos great success and hope they are around for years to come.

I agree with Ron 100%. The food is quite good and Rhonda the barmaid is delightful and I agree with Ron 100% there is no reason to have TV's in restaurants. They don't make the food better and they are quite a distraction but we happen to love the restaurant itself as we did when Bailey's and Bourbon Street were serving food.

Not too long ago we were craving a good Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast, and now we have two! We tried this one yesterday and found it to be very good. Apparently they have another restaurant in Ormond and the owner is also the chef. Our server was very sweet and she made sure everything was nice for us. It's a little dark in there and the decor could do with livening up,but overall we loved it there.

My wife and I tried this new restaurant this evening for dinner and had a great meal. We both chose from the Cuban side of the menu. While waiting for the food we snacked on the chips and excellent salsa. Our entrees arrived piping hot and were really delicious. The flavors were well balanced and the sides of yucca and black beans were wonderful. Our server was very good and prices were reasonable. As with most local restaurants, my only complaint is the that I do not like TV's in restaurants. They ruin the atmosphere and distract this restaurant from being what could be a nice relaxing place to dine. They certainly don't make the food taste any better!
