We ate here shortly after it opened on a recommendation from some friends at church. The food was AWESOME and I especially liked the spicy cabbage salsa; I have never had anything like it! Yummy!!! The service was off, but we chalked it up to the restaurant being brand new. They also didn't have a liquor license, so no margaritas for us. (It was the middle of the day, so we really didn't need one anyway ;)). There was only one high chair in the entire place, but I am sure that will be remedied before we visit this again. The food was awesome and we are so excited to have a fab Mexican restaurant near us! We will be back.

Saw this restaurant listed on here and had to see what the fuss was about so drove up from Flagler Beach. We usually go to Daytona for our Mexican fix but this is closer and much better. They have a good menu that isn't all full of the same old 6 items just placed in every conceivable combination. Someone else mentioned about it being more spicy, and I agree they need to offer their food at spicy levels, or at least mention it on the menu (that's what they all do in Florida), and I must remember to ask next time I go. However, our food was really delicious at just the right portion size and price. The servers were very good and we loved their chips and dips.

Comment from at Mis Amores - Sorry about the spice! I will have to work on the spice as I just get scared some times if it is too spicy that people can't eat it .

    Thanks for the review,
    Gordon and Rosita Brewster

My son's quesadilla didn't look the way he was used to but he was game and said it tasted good. I had the steak con queso and it was tasty. My husband had the pollo de arrozo (something like that). We all enjoyed our food, but it wasn't very spicy and we asked for spicy. Oh well, we enjoyed it anyway and the service was good.

Excellent! Awesome restaurant with great Mexican food. Staff are super friendly but one point off for having to keep asking the young boy for refills. Not too keen on the seating either, but it's all about the food and that is excellent. Large portions!

Went for dinner with my husband tonight and had a wonderful meal. We sat in the booth which was nice and comfortable and the server bought us chips with a salsa and some kind of cabbage slaw which was quite good although a little compacted to scoop with a chip. The menu is quite broad and has something for everyone. The burritos, house specials and a la cart items seemed like very good value although they did have some seafood type dishes that were a little pricey. Our food was excellent and we cleaned our plates. think I see what some are saying about the atmosphere, they only seem to be using half of the dining area which is a little dark and needs to be a little more Mexican and colorful. But we loved it and will definitely be going back.

Yummy! When we heard this was open in Palm Coast we didn't think much of it because all the other Mexican restaurants we had here were terrible, but after having dinner here we were very surprised and pleased with with its food and service. The menu is large and staff very friendly. Prices are right on target and I'm happy it's here!

Stopped for lunch and found the food very good! Food was served quickly and was almost too hot to eat right away (which is a good thing). Waiter (also owner) was very polite. My only complaint would be the noise, it's hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. Will definitely be back!

If you like/love Mexican food, you have to try this restaurant. Only been open 3+ weeks. After seeing the other reviews(over 19 and all 5 stars), we tried it today for a late lunch. We could order anything off the regular menu as well. I loved the fajitas. Husband loved his combo of releno and taco (and he is not a big Mexican fan). Beans and rice are definitely homemade. Complementary chips and (great) salsa were very good. This is family owned (Gordon & Rosita-guess who is cooking). The only other Mexican food that comes close is Maria Bonita's in south Daytona. Now I can have my Mexican fix in Palm Coast. By the way, they took over the Napoleon's location on W Palm Coast PKWY. Very nice, great service and great food and owners. No liquor license, but working on wine/beer license. The food is worth the visit.

Thought I'd see what all the fuss was about this place for myself. Went for dinner with my wife and son and we had a fantastic meal. We all ate everything on our plates and are happy we finally have a great Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast. My only complain is that I wish the server asked how spicy I wanted it like most other Mexican restaurants do. I didn't think to ask and would of had it hotter!!!

I'm so glad I found this site as I didn't know this restaurant existed. I live in Seminole Woods so drove up here for lunch. I was on my own so sat at the bar and had an excellent lunch. Couldn't decide what to have as it all sounded so good. Will be coming back to try other items. Well worth the drive! Only comment, like a person below I wish I had asked for it spicier. But it was still delicious.

Visited today for lunch with my daughter. I had a chicken burrito with green sauce and my daughter had the special, which was artichoke and spinach stuffed enchiladas. Both tasted great. Service was very attentive and prices can't be beat!

Food is awesome and my only complaint is that they don't mention the specials to you when ordering. On the way out we saw the board and we would of ordered them had we know. The board was hard to see when you walk in because it's located on the darker non-seated side of the restaurant. Overall though a great restaurant and much welcomed addition to Palm Coast.

Mexican is one of my favorite foods and I've been waiting so long for a good Mexican restaurant to finally open here. This one is excellent. I've been here twice so far and the food is awesome. Service needs a little refinement but I'm sure it's because they're new, and although it's not very Mexicany in there, the food makes up for that!

We had lunch here Saturday. Food was great. However, they do not have lunch specials on Saturday and Sunday. We overheard many customers asking about lunch specials. Maybe they will change to lunch specials 7 days a week. Service was OK. We had a new server and he really needs to be trained. I agree with the other comments about the decor. It still looks like the previous restaurant. Bottom line... great food... will return.

Had lunch here with a friend a couple of days ago and loved it! The food is flavorful, colorful and certainly plentiful. I can't wait to go back and try other items. I have to agree a little with the atmosphere comments, I wouldn't necessarily want sombreros and pinatas hanging up but it could do with some Mexican touches over the Mediterranean look. I'm so happy they're in Palm Coast and grateful they chose to open here. I wish them much success.

I'm really happy to finally see a good Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast. The food I've had here so far is very good and plentiful, and my only complaint is that it could be a little stronger on flavor and the red sauce to be less sweet. Menu is broad and has a few items listed I was surprised to see such as pasta dishes but all were reasonably priced. Service was good and the owner was very personable and appreciative.

I'd also like to feel like I was more in a Mexican restaurant and less stark. It's decor is almost the same as its previous tenant (Napoleons) and is reminiscent of a Mediterranean theme with bunches of grapes and Italian wine racks. Unless I knew, I would never know this was a Mexican restaurant from inside. However, I really hope this restaurant does well and I'll be a frequent customer.

Had a fantastic lunch here today! Had a burrito special that was huge and very flavorful with a great guacamole on top and sour cream. The chips and salsa were good and the Mexican type of coleslaw served with them was interesting. I would of liked the burrito to of been spicier or at least had the option to order by heat level like many Mexican restaurants do. Also agree with another post about the atmosphere with it not feeling like a Mexican restaurant. But that's just being picky and the food is what makes the place.

Comment from at Mis Amores - Dear Patron,

About the spice, if you would like it hotter just ask for it we will spice it up for you. Most people can't handle the heat and I am glad to see there are some people that like it that way... that means they like Mexican food, so if you like hot food just ask and I will gladly make it hot for you.

    Thanks,

    Gordon and Rosita, owners
