Mis Amores Mexican Restaurant PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I don't eat out much in Palm Coast but thought I'd give this place a try due to the glowing reviews. When we entered it took a while to be acknowledged by anyone even though it was only about half full. But it got better as we were seated and promptly given chips with dips. Our food was very tasty and was by far the best Mexican food in this area. Prices are good and it was very clean in there. Just tell the boy serving it's OK to show some personality lol

Had lunch today. Food was very good (Chimichanga, Fajita Quesadilla). Both excellent. Usually, we share tastes, but hubby would not share even a bite of the chimichanga, until I asked. Service was good, although not many in the restaurant being Sunday, and early afternoon. Very pleased with the experience.

Not my first review of the place but they are this good. Please do not change we "love" your food #1 is beef # 2 chicken # 3 pork try it you will love it too. Today we got Frozen Drinks! and our friend had a Mexican Beer.

Had a great experience here for lunch yesterday. I took my elderly parents and we all really enjoyed the food. Portion sizes were generous and the flavors just right especially for my parents who can't take their food too rich or spicy. Prices were great too and we look forward to coming back.

The food at this place is very good. But they are falling prey to the same problem that plagues most other restaurants in Flagler County- the service is consistently getting worse.

The first time we visited the service was good. Each successive visit since then (about 5) they have been less attentive and we have waited longer and longer for food, refills, check, etc.

Tonight we walked in around 6:30 for dinner. They were busy, but there were three open tables (clean and set for guests) on the left side and the right side was completely empty. We were told it would be "a couple minutes." Well after five minutes passed I asked the guy behind the bar what we were waiting for since they had open tables. The owner then told us that it would be "a couple minutes." I told him we had already waited over five and asked why we could not be seated since there were empty tables. He said they had just sat eight people and could not service us right then.

I have never experienced that kind of welcome (or lack of) from a restaurant. I was disgusted and disappointed. Although I really enjoy the food, I will probably not return. If they cannot handle a less than full restaurant, they should remove the tables that are beyond their capabilities. It is offensive to walk into a restaurant with empty tables and be told that they are too busy to allow you to sit down.

Family and I dined here a few days ago for dinner. Service was not too great but the food was excellent. It was quite busy but the server just kept walking by not acknowledging us and when he finally did arrive after I grabbed his attention, there was no apology or anything. He was young so hopefully he's being trained. But the food was really good and delicious. My wife and our 2 girls all had make their own combos and I had the fajitas. Portions are great and it was excellent value for money. Except for the initial bad service the dinner was very enjoyable and we will visit again.

Wow what a great place! We have visited this restaurant on different occasions and every time was a pleasant experience. On our most current visit we were greeted and seated promptly as usual. What a great menu they have also, I ordered the chimichanga special and my wife ordered the fajitas (YUM YUM!!!) . Palm Coast is very lucky to have this restaurant because it was so needed. The place is really a breath of fresh air for the city. We even had a chance to chat with the owner for a bit before he recommended their flan for dessert. OMG it was amazing, so we just had to get another one to go! Thank you and keep up the great work! We will be back :)

Been here before a few times and although the food was awesome on this last visit the service was bad. The usual manager guy was not around and staff seemed lost without him. One staff member was fantastic and seated us straight away. He kept checking on us and was very personable, however, he said he wasn't waitstaff so couldn't take our orders. The other staff that could were just ignoring us even though he bought us to one of their attentions. Once we finally ordered everything was fine and as mentioned the food was as delicious as before and kudos to this one staff member (Hispanic guy with a pony tail) for going out of his way for us.

This is a great cozy restaurant with first class food. They seemed very appreciative of our business and proud of their food. And so they should be because the crab enchilada I had was very tasty. My husband ordered 3 burritos and ate them all LOL

Had a combo meal of and enchilada and two burritos with rice and beans. It wasn't the best Mexican I've ever had especially after living LA for 5 years but it was quite good. I would of liked a little more flavor although the verde sauce was very good. The place is comfortable and friendly and I'll try some other items next time.

Visited Saturday night for dinner with friends we had a great meal. Food was awesome and the service good and didn't rush us at all. We all loved the flavors and portions were a good size. Would like to see cocktails served but can live without now and then. I wish them luck here in Palm Coast and I look forward to being a long time customer.

Mis Amores is welcome addition to the restaurants in Palm Coast. We are very happy to have a good, authentic Mexican restaurant. We ate lunch and all our choices were excellent. We will definitely return.

This is a very nice restaurant. Although not the best Mexican food I've had, it's still very good and certainly the best in the area. Service was good but the young guy seemed a little lost at times. A manager type checked up on us and overall we were extremely satisfied.

The food and everything was great. I'll have to ask for it to be a more spicy next time but even with it being mild, the favor was excellent. Staff were welcoming, prices very good and the restaurant was spotless.

Our family of 5 visited for dinner last night. After a short wait we were seated and given menus. It took a while for the server to arrive and to get our drinks. We ordered and food and it came out quite fast. We were very satisfied with all of our selections but it did seem like they could of done with an extra server. The two they had were running all over the place and they seemed very stretched. Still, this is a very good restaurant and it's food is great value.

Had a craving for Mexican food so gave this a shot. I was quite busy but we got seated and was given chips, salsa and kind of slaw dip which was good. I wanted empanadas but couldn't find them on the menu! I thought every Mexican restaurant did empanadas but I guess not here. So I had a combo with 3 choices and it was very good. I had a burrito, tostada and a taco but no empanada! But what I did have tasted awesome. Flavors were great and portion sizes were very generous. Even without empanadas the meal was excellent and I highly recommend Mis Amores. Except for empanadas ;-)

Their shrimp enchiladas are my new favorite dish. I fell in love with them and now I'm addicted. Go try them and you'll thank me LOL Nice folks and although service was a downer a couple of times, it's mostly been a great experience and the food has always been superb.

Stopped by this past weekend. We saw all the good reviews and although Mexican food is not our favorite we will try almost anywhere once. We found the food here not as overpowering as other Mexican food we've had and we didn't leave with strong tastes in our mouths or our taste buds burning with chili. The flavors were just right and the meat was nice and tender. I passed on the beans as I don't like them anywhere, but overall we very much liked Mis Amores and will return.

I was hoping for a bad experience here so I could be the first to write a bad review of this restaurant, but sad to say it was very good and the family all enjoyed their dishes. My youngest didn't like the cabbage dip thing but gobbled everything else and he's very picky. We'll be back for sure.

This is truly the best Mexican restaurant in Palm Coast. I have been there a couple of times, my favorite dish so far fish tacos, delicious! The staff is OK, the owners are very friendly and very involved but the best part is the food!
