We have been going to La Casa Nova's for about 3 years during bike week and the food is fantastic. I've spent more than my share of time in NY and you won't find any better NY Italian food any where. The family that owns the place make you feel like family and are wonderful people. During our 10 stay we try to have dinner there at least every other night.

We were traveling from Atlanta to Melbourne Fl. on May 22nd and stopped for dinner at this charming restaurant. Great atmosphere! My husband ordered the sausage and peppers pasta dish. He really enjoyed this dish and the red sauce was so flavorful. I ordered the shrimp fra diavolo sp? pasta dish which was billed as spicy which I love. The shrimp were sumptuous and the sauce - very spicy and so unique. The owner Barbara told us that all sauces are homemade and the recipes have been kept in the family for years. My daughter's cheese pizza was special - again the red sauce unique. The owner is pretty and fun. Wish we had a family owned restaurant like this near us in Atlanta - our neighborhood is swamped with chain restaurants.

Heard about this restaurant from a few of my friends and wanted to try it for myself, and am very glad I did. The food was excellent. I had the Penne al la Vodka and my friend had a couple slices of pizza, no complaints it was all very good. The place was decorated very nicely and the owners were very friendly; I found the whole atmosphere to be very comfortable. I will definitely be back here again.

Over the past 6 weeks or so we have spent over a week in Palm Coast on 2 different occasions while looking for a house, and most recently buying a house. During these periods we have had dinner 3 times at La Casa Nova's. When we finally re-locate to Palm Coast from the Boston area, La Casa Nova's will be a regular dining-out location for my wife and I. We have tried several Italian restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best. You feel welcomed the minute you walk through the door, and when you learn that this is a family owned and operated restaurant you understand why. The owners are also part of the staff, and their main goal is for you to have a pleasant dining experience. We have enjoyed chicken, veal & pasta dishes and can't decide which we like best. If you're not in the mood for a full meal, their pizza is the best we've had in Florida. The taste, preparation & presentation of your meal will remind you of the finest Italian restaurants you have eaten in. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.

One of my favorite places to eat at - have been twice now - and the food is always amazing. The service is unmatched, and is possibly one of my favorite parts. The family that owns the restaurant is very friendly and personable and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It almost feels like you are dinning in their home, and you are the star guest of the evening. They even stayed open an hour past closing so we could eat. And, now I think I am officially hooked on their garlic knots with marinara!! Clearly, this is a very unique restaurant that will remain one of my favorites for a while. I offer my strongest recommendation to others to try this restaurant. If you have not been, you should make plans to go. I know I will be back soon!

I lived in Palm Coast for more than 20 years and have seen many Italian restaurants come and go and come back again in some cases. This particular one has always stood out for me as one of the best ever in this town ever since they opened because they have always been very friendly and make you feel welcome like family. On top of that their food reminds me of my grandmother’s home cooked meals and my grandmother's mother and father were right off the boat from Italy to NY. If you’re looking for microwave pizza or pre-frozen pasta dishes that always come out of the microwave “perfect” (and often over seasoned or too spicy) every time go to Olive Garden or I hear domino’s does pasta now. But for a real home style flavor and homemade sauces with friendly family oriented atmosphere then La Casa Nova’s is the place for you! And just on a side note in reference to a previous review this restaurant’s dinner menu has recently been redone and does not show calzones listed for their dinner menu, and they no longer do lunch as their business hours are currently 4pm-10pm.

My wife and I are originally from New York and have gone to some excellent restaurants in Yonkers, the Bronx and of course NYC. We just found out about La Casa Nova's about 2 months ago, and were more than pleasantly surprised. The food is great. We have had about 4 or 5 items on the menu, and were more than satisfied. La Casa Nova's is now our favorite place to dine. The owners are pleasant and friendly, always checking on us to see if we needed anything. Listening to Sinatra and Dino music made it feel like home. Palm Coast has a winner in La Casa Nova's. I am recommending this restaurant to everyone I know.

The food was okay, nothing spectacular. The reason for the "poor" rating is the owner's 3 year old grandchild was a constant nuisance all throughout dinner. The boy was talking to our child while we were trying to eat dinner. When asked by my daughter to let us alone while we ate (in front of the grandmother mind you), the boy paid no attention and kept being a disturbance. He was under our table several times throughout dinner, and when he left our table-side for a brief moment , he quickly returned crawling inside a box. The most offensive part of this ordeal was when our food came and my daughter was trying to eat, this boy kept poking her in the back. My sister asked him to stop so that we could eat in peace, and his reply was "shhh, close your pie hole"! Can you believe it? We could not. The owners made several comments which made it sound like this child is always permitted to roam freely among the patrons. Even though the food was okay and the owners were very nice, we will not be returning due to the actions of this child. We cannot believe that the grandparents allow this child to behave in this way at their place of business.

Just returned from dinner at La Casa Nova and I had the best Veal Marsala that I have ever tasted. I have been all over the USA and always order veal marsala at any Italian restaurant that I go into and not many have even come close to this. The veal was so tender that it melted in my mouth and the marsala was excellent. My wife had eggplant parm and she also said that it was terrific. We had some bad experiences at first but this restaurant has come a long way since they opened and if you have tried it and was disappointed I would strongly suggest that you try it again. We have always enjoyed the pizza and have had it on our previous two visits. When I told Barbara that I liked veal marsala she told me to come back and try it as her son makes the best. I am glad that I did and will be back for more at a later date.

Been here two years from Brooklyn and never knew this place was here. I tried it twice, once for Pizza and once for Veal Marsala. I also had the Bruchetta as an appetizer.Fresh homemade Italian bread. Let me tell you that you can go to NY or NJ and still not find better stuff. The Pizza was Unbelievable, as was the Marsala on my second trip. Highly recommended. The staff and atmosphere and 50's music brought me back to good old days. Barbara, the owner said they will be starting Early Bird specials and happy hour this Monday from 4PM to 6PM. I know where I'll be every Monday when every other restaurant is closed.

It was wonderful meal and such a beautiful atmosphere. They played my favorite music. I came all the way from Europe to visit Florida. I'm so glad I stop and ate at such a friendly, fun, and family oriented place. I would like to see a place like that in Oslo.

I can only believe that the people who gave this place 5 stars must eat at Denny's. My wife is Italian and makes some great Pasta dishes. I specifically went around town ordering Calamari Marinara. Casa Nova failed in all sectors. The salad was poor and non descript.. The bread was typical with plastic butter capsules; no olive oil dip. My Calamari had 5 pieces of Calamari with 4 pieces of shrimp. Probably cost them $2.50 for the entree which they charged $15.95 plus $1.00 for the so so salad. My wife had Chicken Marsalla for which she could taste no wine

Everything is overpriced for what you get and I'll give this place 6 months before it closes.

I must say what an improvement, the food was excellent.Their home made bread is the best I have ever had.we started off with bruchetta, this was better then the bruchetta I tasted in Italy. Then I had the chicken marsala and my husband had the shrimp fra diavlo which I must say was out of this world. How can you not love this place. The family is the best, the decor is spectacular, the music is great. what more can you ask for. To our new favorite place we will be back many times with our friends and will spread the word.

The first time I came here the food was below expectations and some of the help were less than stellar, [Jan. 2008]. The second try was much better and exceeded expectations, [April 2008]. I am now a regular and think the food and the pizza are world class, [December 2008]. I guess perfection takes a while sometimes. I am so glad I gave them another try and even happier they now deliver. Keep it up folks. You are the best in my opinion.

I Have heard a lot of wonderful things about this restaurant. All Of my friends eat there once or twice a week. The food is the best in Flagler and Palm Coast. I have tried them all and none of them compare to this one.I did not even know they were there. We started with the bruchetta. I must say I have not tasted better in my entire life, not even in Italy. The pizza Thin crust cooked to perfection.People rave about Bruno's, but they will not anymore after they try La Casanova's. Big does not mean better. My husband had the shrimp Fra Diavlo. Usually when he gets it from other places it is much to ho to the point where he cannot enjoy it. The chef suggested he get it mild so he did. My husband licked the plate clean. My friends husband Ate the Veal Marsala which he said was the most flavorful marsala ever. The veal was huge, not like other place where the give you a tiny frozen patty and call it veal. The owner and husband were the nicest people. They came and chatted with us more then once and they are very nice. We will be back many times.Thank you for a wonderful experience and bringing great quality fresh food. We will spread the word.

Great food and service. My wife and I eat here at least 3 times a week. All food is fresh, hot and made to order, worth waiting for. This is the place if you want real Italian food. After my dinner, I enjoy a chilled vodka from the full service bar, and smoke cigars with the owner on the outdoor seating patio. Did I mention the portions of food, unreal, they are huge and most excellent, quality all the way. If you want a family meal prepared and served Italian family way, then you must simply eat here. Now that's an offer you can't refuse.

The service at La Casa Novas was very good. The owners were really nice and always made sure me and my boyfriend had everything we needed. Everybody there was very friendly and always had smiles on their faces. The food was excellent. The sausage parm was amazing and so were the fried raviolis. Having tasted real Italian food before, I would say the people at La casa novas really have it to a science. Overall, I will definitely be going back again.

As a Northern girl, I'm picky about my food, especially when it comes to Italian cuisine. La Casa Nova's provides the most authentic Italian food that you can find this close to the equator. That's probably because the owners, transplants from New York, know how it's done. Not only is the food great, everything about the establishment is worth the trip. The owners are among the nicest people I've met since relocating to Flagler County, and pride themselves on creating the highest quality food possible. The business is a family affair, and they make you feel a part of it as soon as you step inside. The appearance and atmosphere do not disappoint either. It is one of the cleanest restaurants I've encountered, decorated top to bottom with our favorite "wise guys" and works of art alike. The private room in the back includes its' own bar and tasteful decor, perfect for any kind of function. The next time that you've got to have Italian, you've GOT to go to La Casa Nova's!
