The Black Cloud Restaurant PERMANENTLY CLOSED

We have been at the Black Cloud many times and we have always had great food and wonderful service. This is a place everyone should try.

We ate at the Black Cloud last night which was fish and chips night and it was Excellent. The food was wonderful, the batter on the fish was light and cooked just right. I feel it is The Best fish and chips in the area.

The service was great, the lady was very attentive. Overall, it was a great dining experience. I highly recommend the Black Cloud at Thunder Gulch.

Well if there was ever a place not to go to. this one fit the bill. The waitress was nice, however she is supported by a cook that doesn't get it. Thinking a hamburger would be moist is the farthest from the truth. My wife's teeth hurt for an hour and desperately needed a box of tooth picks. The casadia I had must have come from Mexico today sometime as it was dry as the desert and it took half a bottle of catsup to make it moist. Unfortunately the coleslaw came from the same area. Or maybe it was all left over food from the Oktoberfest last week. There weren't to many of that crowd because it was hot out and they drink a lot of beer to wash this crap down. Now if it weren't for the sweet ice tea, my 25 bucks (including tip---I felt sorry for the waitress) just was too much to spend during these times. Wendy's...you've got my vote...Oh yeah my wife said how does one make water taste as dry as the fries????? Buy catsup stock now! Sorry guys but maybe you need this, apparently you don't need my business!

Waited almost 10 minutes for a waitress - no one came over to give a menu or just say "Hello" ( there were very few people in the place so wasn't like it was overwhelming for the wait staff who we saw 2 or 3 walking around) - we left so cannot say anything about the food quality, but won't go back

I vistied The Black Cloud with my parents. Our waitress was very and we thought the food was good.

What Happened? Took friends bike week. Was embarrassed. Service was terrible. The menu was way over priced. We ate on a bare table, that we had to wipe off. The server was being over worked, so she took our order without a smile or conversation. What's going on? Went back after bike week. Same thing. Had to get our own drinks. Very unfriendly waitress, Food came out fine, and good. but service was terrible. The ambiance is gone. It's like going to a bar, not restaurant. What a change.

Very good food with fun entertainment. I love their fried shrimp.

This is far from a high class restaurant but it does serve some good food in a fun and easy atmosphere. Their entertainment is good too especially the comedy shows.
