I went to Bourbon Street Grill for the first time during the Fall of 2008 and the food was wonderful. In fact, my friend and I made it a ritual to go there at least once a month. Then they hired a new chef. We had our entire family go there for our daughter's high school graduation in May 2009. The food was not nearly as good as before but okay. The Chicken Francais was delicious and my younger daughter's favorite. However, we had to actually send food back twice as the steak was inedible and tough. We decided to go there again last night as a special birthday dinner for my daughter to experience the Chicken Francais again even though I had my reservations. It was beyond disappointing. Our normal shrimp appetizer which was fabulous was now a joke with these tiny little shrimp that we could have purchased a bag full of from Publix for the same price. They were perched on these huge pieces of bread and looked ridiculous. The salads would have been better at MacDonald's and the chicken was so terrible, I felt sorry for all of us. It was a large chicken breast that was utterly tasteless. I could have made better at home. The poor waitress felt badly and brought us free dessert which was great. If we had gone for coffee and dessert that would have been perfect. They have fallen so far that it is hard to understand that it is the same place. It gave me a giant pain to pay for this miserable $60.00 meal. Honestly, they need a new chef, cook, whatever. But we will never go back I am sorry to say.

My husband and I go to Bourbon Street several times a week and have done so since they opened more than three years ago. We have never had a bad experience or a bad meal. We mostly sit at the bar and enjoy the friendly and bubbly bar person, Denise. It is by far the friendliest bar around and we have met many interesting and enjoyable people there. When we are having a nice dinner we sit at a table and find all of the staff friendly and efficient.

I have been to Bourbon Street many times and have never experienced anything other than good service and delicious food. It has always been an enjoyable dining experience. In every way.

Bourbon Street Bar and Grill is probably the best in town and making lists of the best in the US. Beautiful space. Elegant. Convenient There's something to suit just about any palate. That said, no visit to Palm Coast is complete without sampling Bourbon Street they will serve you their versions of down home Cajun classics like etouffee and jambalaya. One of the city's only Creole eateries, meanwhile, tend to lean toward the haute side of the spectrum, often mingling several culinary styles to mold dishes like fennel-crusted salmon with craw fish, quail with apple cider sauce, or even shrimp, crab meat and craw fish casserole baked with eggplant.

And when I visit it Always feels like home. If your family were chef's that cooked classic Creole meals. And had an excellent selection of wine. And treated you like a king.

With that being said I truly recommend a visit to this amazing restaurant I'm sure you will be glad you did.

I LOVE this place! The bar is beautiful, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable, the chef is brilliant and his creations are delicious! For me, the best part of this time of year (when the weather cools down) is being able to indulge in the famous bread pudding with Hummus (so yummy~) with a wonderful Corzo Perfecto margarita.

I was reading the last review and was appalled.. I've been to Bourbon Street many upon many times in the last 3 years. It's my preferred place in Palm Coast. In 3 years I've not once had a bad experience. The food is always 5 star, and the service is ALWAYS excellent. When I see bad reviews on this place I wonder if the person writing the review is having a bad day, because in all honesty Bourbon Street is the classiest place in Palm Coast. They should be busier, but the location is not that great. I would recommend this place to everyone. It really is great.

By far the WORST dining experience I have ever had. My sister and I decided to go to Bourbon Street because we had heard so many good things about it. We got there and were greeted by no one. After five minutes of standing there waiting for someone to seat us, the musician decided to go get our server from the kitchen. She came out with obviously something more important to do than serve us because she said what do you guys want, oh you want to sit?

No lady we just decided to drop in and say hi... Of course we want to sit!

Anyways, then without even seating us, she threw the menus on the table and scurried back to the kitchen. At this point, I must say, we were a little annoyed. She gave us some water, quickly ran through the specials (which I couldn't understand because she was mumbling and talking so quickly) and then left without asking what we wanted to drink. Waiting for what felt like forever, she asked if we wanted anything to drink and took our order. We decided to share some pasta with scallops, mussels, and calamari with a side order of mashed potatoes. She brought the soda... which was flat by the way.

While waiting for our meal, our waitress and another employee gabbed about some girl who got wasted the night before and also talked negatively about other employees and blah blah blah. Can you maybe finish the conversation somewhere else? Maybe not right next to our table? Very Unprofessional in my opinion.

Our food finally got there. Not that bad but not good either. And all of this for over $30. I could not believe that a bowl of pasta and mashed potatoes was $30. It was absolutely ridiculous. Waste of time and waste of money.

Sadly, I've consistently had better service at Steak 'n Shake.

Loved this place, great food and excellent service. Being from Louisiana we weren't sure we wanted to try it but after two other places bombed out we went over and we are glad we found this place. The food was so good, great use of spices and portion and presentation was 5 star, out waitress was very helpful in our selection and was there with water and bread refills, taking away used dishes and asking us if there was anything else we needed - couldn't ask for any better.

I used to like this restaurant. However recent visits have been disappointing. How can a Cajun restaurant be out of red beans and rice by 6 pm?

My husband and I eat here several times a month and it's always great. On Monday night we tried the new menu. My husband had the sirloin steak with mushrooms and onions. He said it was one of the best steaks he ever had. I had the stuffed shrimp special and it was great. The mashed potatoes are awesome as is the bread. If we are not having a meal and just having a drink, I always get the garlic shrimp appetizer. It is out of the world.

This place is slipping fast. Went for a late lunch. No busboy to clean off tables even though diners kept arriving. A lone waitress had to double as bartender and although she was charming she had to refer to a cheat book to make a mixed drink. We left a nice tip just because she tried so hard under bad circumstances, others would have just given up. Ordered the fish & chips "special." After a long wait (apparently most of the kitchen staff disappeared too) was treated to undercooked hunks of fish that were likely thawed in a microwave. This is our second poor experience here. Bourbon Street looks like it is following its namesake downhill.

I'm a frequent diner of Bourbon Street and have yet to have a bad experience. The food is GREAT, fresh, and tasty. I would say best food by far in Palm Coast! Great servers, Great atmosphere.. Should be more restaurants like this! I've dined there even when it was Troy's Seafood which didn't compare. Bourbon Street is in a league of its own. Better than the best!

We had the special of the day; 8 oz ribeye steaks for $12.95 each. We each had one. What we received were the thinnest pieces of beef I have ever seen. These weren't sliced, they were shaved. To add insult to injury, they were over 50% fat. The entree came with vegetables, which were overly salted, buttery canned green beans and a potato. $12.95 for apiece for toss away beef I would not serve to my dog. A salad was extra. So, we had the salad. It was fresh and the highlight of the meal. $2 for a small plate of bagged salad. We tried to use a 10% coupon and were told, sorry, can't use it on the "special". I understand there is new management at this place. I wish I had gone before. The place has had rave reviews. This was some of the worst food and service I ever experienced. Overall, a waste of time and money. I should add that the folks next to us sent back their double order of mussels as they were spoiled. Bon Appétit!

Good place to dine and listen to jazz. Food is always good and staff are friendly, but the owners could be more people friendly, I have been coming here for over a year and they never say hello.
