Been here for various occasions numerous times and it can be a hit or miss, especially with the cooking of the steak. Half the time they get it right and the half completely wrong, and I'm not just talking about mine but whoever is dining with me too! The other thing I have noticed is that the portion sizes seem to of gotten smaller and the prices higher. I have also noticed everything seems much more greasy lately as well especially the shrimp. The one constant is that service is always good and the servers seem to do their best under the circumstances. It it wasn't for family and friend's events being here, I would never go.

My husband and I went there tonight on our 20th Anniversary. Haven't been there in years. I will start with the chicken quesadilla soup. My husband said it was awful. Then he had ordered the surf and turf. He order the steak medium well. It came back bloody. The four shrimp that he got were overdone and tough. I ordered Salmon on the Green. The salmon was dry and tasteless. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be a good place to eat. Even my sweet iced tea was tasteless. The only thing it was enjoyable was the coffee that my husband had. We spent nearly $50.00 on a meal that neither one of us enjoyed. It was dinner time, around 7 and a little busy, but no excuse for the food. The service wasn't too bad except our empty plates from our bread and salad, were left on the table the entire meal, which really wouldn't have bothered me had the food been good. The prices are way too high for the amount and quality of the food. Very disappointed!

Two for late lunch yesterday... not busy at all. Ordered two Burger/Fries platters. 20-minute wait for food (?) both burgers requested Medium... one was correct, the other was well done. Both Fries overcooked. Young waitress not to be found. Seriously, what is the problem to get food correct and proper service? Will not be back.

Have been to this Outback several times and we have never been disappointed. Nothing fancy but the service, food and atmosphere is always good. This past Monday we visited around 4:30 and there wasn't much of a crowd but by 6 pm it began filling up. There are many restaurants in the area so we probably go to this Outback about once every 6-8 weeks.

This place is pretty good... Have been here many times and have always found it to be very good. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the taste ... great.

Yesterday 3 of us (my wife, I, and her brother. decide we wanted steak for supper and decided the only restaurant that specializes in steak in Palm Coast was the "Outback". We ate there with a sparse crowd, between 6 and 7 PM.. My wife's steak was well done, fairly tender, but as she said her steak had absolutely no taste. My medium well steak was OK, nothing to brag about, some but not a lot of taste, kind of tender, but that also means kind of tough. My brother-in laws medium rare steak was really tough and no taste, he used all 4 knives at the table but was still unable to cut it left about half of his on the plate. he told the waitress, she said that their knives weren't the sharpest. The total bill was almost $60.00.

If restaurant operators read these reviews, Palm Coast would be a good place for a good family restaurant. One that would serve a decent steak, along with family type food, meat loaf, pork chops, Mac and cheese, hamburgers, ribs, beef and pork roast, common seafood meals, breakfasts etc.. The empty Perkins or the empty Hong Kong Buffet buildings would be a couple of available buildings to consider. Grace's Place offered some hope but didn't deliver, two trips were enough of that restaurant.

My husband and out go to our local Outback 3-4 times a week and we love it.

We sit at the bar and enjoy the local bar crowd as well as Beth, Mike, Mossimo. They are, for sure the best bartenders in the State of Florida. TJ is a delightful new addition to the bar and does a real good job.

I love, love, love the New England Clam Chowder and have recently gotten hooked on the 11.99 parmesan crusted chicken three course dinner. It absolutely delicious and I might add one of the best dishes I have ever had there. I do miss the scallops and fettuccine though.

All in all Outback is our favorite place to eat and hang out in Palm Coast.
