Attended Paul Nison's Raw Weekend Retreat Aug 2009 ... Was VERY impressed with the buffet you served our group on Friday Night at The Almond Blossom Cafe. Especially enjoyed the Kale dish and the brown dish that had sprouts next to it ... all was awesome. Don't suppose there is anyway I can get the recipes for these two excellent dishes? Don't get up to North Florida often but will stop in if/when I do. All was EXCELLENT. You outdid yourselves for us. Thank You.

I planned a little get away spa vacation for myself as a treat before getting married. I randomly chose a spa in Flagler Beach. Once I got there, I was not sure where I would eat or what would be around. Much to my delight, our Inn had a listing for the Almond Blossom Cafe (ABC) so I thought I would check it out. Now I have been eating raw foods on and off for years. I live in the heart of the raw food scene in NYC in the LES. I have Quintessence, Organic Avenue, Caravan of Dreams and Pure Food and Wine within walking distance. So, my standards are high. As soon as I walked into ABC, I felt a wonderful energy. I was greeted by a wonderful and friendly woman named Maria who was very excited about the cafe and her discoveries. She told us about dropping two dress sizes and being able to walk more freely since she changed her diet. I think these are luxuries that many of us in NYC take for granted, since we have to walk everywhere (or at least I do). Upon looking at the menu, I was impressed to see my favorite basics which I always get at home; coconut shakes, raw hummus and build your own salad. So I started off with a shake. Delicious! It was the first time I had an enhanced coconut shake with coconut flakes and it was nutty and delicious. The hummus was delicious and came with the absolute best veggie green crackers. I have never been a huge fan of flax crackers, and these veggie crackers put flax to shame! The next day, I got the grape leaves which were stuffed with a sweet nutty delight which came with the crackers. I also got a banana strawberry smoothie with cashew milk. Why was I only using cashew milk in my tecchino all these years! It was great! I ordered the stuffed avocado the next day which was essentially an entire avo cut up with scallions, lentil sprouts, cherry tomatoes, scallions and curry. I ate every last bit and savored it. I also did get the house salad and it was fresh and delicious. And the last night I was there, I got the mole tacos. That was some of the best mole sauce ever! So if you are in Flagler Beach, go to ABC. The food is great and it was inspiring to see so many people coming in and talking about their desire to change their lives. This place offers great food, a support network and inspiration. It's a must visit!

I'm from Chicago Illinois and Run a RN Staffing Firm, and I'm always on the go, ( no time for putting food together) my family took me out to dinner to Almond Blossom, and at first I thought I'm going to starve tonight,,,there going to have to take me to McDonald's afterwards, well, guess what? to MY surprise, I really Enjoyed the food, and they were really nice in explaining everything to us, and I felt satisfied, and energetic afterwards. In addition to all that the owner David took time and went into more detail for the next two hours explaining to us the benefits of live foods. I ended up buying a zapper, and some msm. and looking forward to coming back to take some classes in the future. Miss you guys and thank you for being here.

My lifestyle and eating habits have taken a whole new direction since being introduced to the Almond Blossom Wellness Center. The adaptation to a plant based diet, raw preferred, I feel is a necessity with our current crisis of disease and chronic illness. As a registered nurse, this is not merely my "opinion" but based on seeing volumes of studies and research in this direction. I now realize how void my education was on true nutrition. Embrace this concept as your body will truly thank you. Kim and her staff make this adaptation so easy for you. The meals are fabulous and unbelievably tasty because the food is ALIVE! so the flavors have not been destroyed by cooking. Even if you are uncertain, give it a try and share the wealth of good health with your friends and family.

I have yet to try a dish that I haven't loved. From the moment I walk through the door and smell the yummy preparations, to leaving with a healthy, satisfied feeling full of live, I am happy to say it's my favorite place to eat by far! The also did a wonderful job catering our wedding. I'm really looking forward to eating that top layer in a couple months. Thanks for all the nutrition you provide and great programs you offer.

Superb living organic vegan food. The Mole' tacos were so tasty, the pizza? best raw pizza I've ever had. To the gent ; John Rose, who said his wife couldn't eat any of the food because it was raw? Well then , no offense but you probably shouldn't be taking her to a raw restaurant. Anyone who sent you there would know it's raw vegan. It's for people who want to lose weight, eat healthy or overcome an illness like cancer. Your review is about as silly as me saying I took my wife to a steak house and she couldn't anything; she's a vegetarian! If you're not into raw don't go there. And incidentally - everyone can eat raw food. Live food much better for you than dead (cooked) food.

Sorry to say that we tried this place on the basis of the great reviews. My wife could not eat any of this food. It is raw.It served at room temp. even the water. I thought the Lasagna was edible. Not good but edible. The zucchini pasta isn't pasta. it's raw zucchini with a raw green something on it. I couldn't get it down. The bread is ground up vegetables that have been dried and formed into a cracker. Unless you are a vegan who likes raw food it is not good. The waitress said that eating vegetarian is a baby step and this is a giant leap.

I have been on a raw food diet since Valentines Day, lost 30 lbs and dropped my cholesterol numbers to well within the normal range!! :) I am lucky enough to live near Almond Blossom Cafe, and try to order takeout on my way home from work at least once a week. Last wk they had a zucchini pasta with a tomato cream sauce, I could not believe how good it was!! I got pecan pie for dessert, best dessert I've had from there, and guilt free!! Their sushi is a work of art and to die for, and the fried rice rivals real Chinese fried rice, only HEALTHY!! Lasagna, MMMMMM! Good salads of course, and the stuffed grape leaves are delicious!! Give them a try, the restaurant has a beautiful and calming atmosphere. It's worth the drive!

As a firm believer in supporting businesses that are doing right in the world, going to an all organic vegan restaurant was a no-brainier for me. As a well-traveled person and a long-time vegetarian, I've been to other raw vegan restaurants in big cities, and I'd have to say Almond Blossom takes the cake for the quality and quantity of food for the money. My only criticism is that I can't stop thinking about how good the food is, but they are a two-hour drive from my home. Yet I'd advise anyone seeking a meal the is both the most delicious and nutritious they've ever had, it is well worth the trip.

Out of this world. I am so fascinated to come across a restaurant that serves up such healthy food. I have already tried the stuff avocado. an avocado lover myself I was in heaven. I also tried the green wrap and let me tell you it was so huge I was not able to eat all at once. such a generous amount my moneys worth. the crackers are unbelievable I can't wait to eat today. it will be Mediterranean Grape leaves. I am so eager to go to lunch these days. I save up all my money just to come here. If only people really knew what this means. The music is so perfect. I just enjoy my whole hour. The food is fabulous. Thanks David and Kim you are the best. Thank you for following the Word of God and making it much simpler for me. God bless you and may you both succeed.

I am a meat eating, former vegan wanting to get back into the lifestyle. I've been meaning to try Almond Blossom for a while, but since I'm never near Flagler Beach I felt it was out of my way. I finally stopped in today for some lunch take out. What was I waiting for?! As soon as I walked in, the aroma made by mouth water. Words can not describe how amazing the food was. The Stuffed Avocados were out of this world. I also had the Mediterranean sampler which also was great. I'll definitely be back!

I have been trying to get to the Almond Blossom Cafe for a few weeks, but it's never worked out. But boy was I glad I finally got there this past Friday! Several of my friends are big fans (they're organics-only or vegetarians) and I trust their judgment.

I had the special Mediterranean sampler platter and have rarely had food so good and fresh as this! The platter was big enough for 2 for an appetizer, but I had it as my entree. Fabulous! It should be on the regular menu!

Friendly, attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere make this a wonderful addition to our community. And a new regular spot for me to enjoy lunch or dinner!

I am a snowbird who visited in January 2008. I am not a vegan, vegetarian or anything like that. But I like to try new foods and I had never been to a raw food restaurant so I wanted to try it. I loved it! The food was so fresh, healthy and delicious. I attempted to eat there once with my toddler in tow but he had a tantrum so I chose to leave (they were very nice about it!) but I returned another day by myself. One of the owners, David sat down and talked to me awhile. I enjoyed learning more about "eating raw" and bought some books. Since being home I have been inspired to eat healthier and eat more raw in my diet. I had the tacos, Thai curry soup and "cheesecake". It was all so good. I left there feeling a little dizzy and euphoric (my body was shocked to have such a healthy meal I think!) and went home and was very tired. I took a nap (hey I was on vacation!) and it was such a beautiful nap! also, after that meal I felt very full.

I don't know if I could ever become a vegan, vegetarian, raw foodist, etc., but I will definitely make some positive changes to begin with. Thanks for showing us "a better way" and giving me inspiration! I highly recommend this place and the book the owner wrote.

Ever since Almond Blossom opened, I've been dying to give it a try. I'd heard some mixed reviews from friends and other sources, but I decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. It smells good, too. It's pretty cool, with paper lanterns hanging off the ceiling and a bamboo bar. For starters, we had a strawberry/banana/carob shake. It was delicious! Then we had the ABC sushi. You'd be amazed at what they do to recreate your favorite foods! Instead of sushi rice, they used cauliflower! Those were delicious, too. As for the main course, I got a real treat! Lasagna... only meatless! I have to say, it was the best lasagna, with or without meat, that I've ever had. A great thing to try is a build your own desert after it's all done to wrap up the meal. You won't be disappointed!

All and all, it was a vry interesting and pleasent experience. I can't wait to go back and bring a few friends.

Consider this; not the healthiest person in the world, a devout carnivore and mildly skeptical, I let my kid talk me into giving this a try. We started with the sushi, yum and then WOW, I had the "fried rice" and it was delicious. I tried her lasagna and almost stole the whole thing right off her plate. I am not kidding, it was the best I have had hot, cold, meaty, or meatless; unbelievable considering what it is all vegan live uncooked. I am going back so that I can have my own next time. The build your own deserts were so good. I really like this place. I am not saying I am going to convert BUT after my experience at Almond Blossom I have accepted my daughter's challenge to try a raw live diet for a full week.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch today after reading all the good reviews and we have to agree with the reviewers and their ratings. We are neither vegetarian or vegans; however, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the creativity of the owner/chefs.

We started with a stuffed grape leaves appetizer. I then had the raw pizza which was excellent. My wife had the mole tacos which were also wonderful. We finished by sharing one slice of "cheesecake". Everything was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pretty and calming. Unfortunately, the exterior of the building looks like a prefab garage; however, that's the only negative we could find with this restaurant and we will definitely go back.

I have eaten at Almond Blossom many times and ALWAYS surprised at the creative ability of Kim and her staff. I understand that raw foods is a difficult concept for most. It is new for me as well. I am not a vegan (yet) but eat a hearty amount of organic fruits and vegetables. Any "flesh foods" will soon be off the table.

The environment is contemporary and relaxing. Every dish is exquisitely prepared and deserves a photograph when placed on your table. I am always amazed how each dish has unbelievable flavors. Be opened minded folks, your body is asking you to. I am a health care professional and am always amazed at how folks take for granted the most important thing they have the power to maintain...themself. They eat for their taste buds and not for the fuel their body is craving. They spend more time and $$ on their care of their furnishings or automobile than their own bodies. Empower yourself folks with new ideas.

Every time we eat at Almond Blossom we comment on how satiated we feel. Crave nothing further. Very reasonably priced as there are MANY ingredients that go into each dish. Anyone who buys organic understands the costs.

Give yourself the "gift of life"...good health, and while you're at it, support your local small business community.

We tried the Almond Blossom Cafe last night. My wife and I are recent Vegans and have found the shift rather straight forward and we feel great. a close friend told us about the Cafe so we had to try it. Finding good eateries with our change to vegan can be a challenge, but Almond Blossom fits the bill. The atmosphere, service and food were all excellent. Kim, the owner operator, came by the table to introduce herself and welcome us. The Thai soup is a great starter and we finished with "ice cream"... WOW, what a surprise. All aspects of the dinning experience were excellent. We will be back and we highly recommend it.
