Review of JT's Seafood by Ken from Jacksonville
All of our food was very good except for the hushpuppies that tasted very refried and were too hard, and the crab legs were small with little meat. Oysters were awesome! Laid back place and had friendly staff but our waitress was forgetful.

Good location for seafood with not great but decent food. The crab legs weren’t very big and not too meaty, but the crab cakes and Mac & cheese were good. Margarita was nothing special. Server was friendly but didn’t give us much attention. The entertainment were good.

We always enjoy JT's with its great food and atmosphere. The boil for two is awesome and we like the spicy crab dip appetizer. Good drinks from the bar and staff are on the ball. The best place for seafood is Palm Coast and worth heading over the bridge for.

Sat outside and really enjoyed the setting and the live music. Just had the calamari starter and a lobster roll and both were excellent, and had a couple of great mixed drinks. JT's is definitely a hot spot on weekends.

I don’t eat fish so just had a veggie wrap and drinks. The wrap was very good and they have excellent fries. Nice busy atmosphere and friendly staff.

It was very busy and I think maybe things would have been much better if quiter and staff not so rushed or stretched. However we did have a nice meal here and the seafood appeared very fresh and was cooked well. The bloody marys are very good. I wouldn't hesitate to return next time in town.

The shrimp and scallop platter and crabcakes were excellent! Sides were all good and coleslaw not too sweet. Beers good and cold. The server was great. Nice place inside and seating looked good outback but too chilly right now.

The shrimp platter was very good... not heavily breaded or greasy like most other places... passed on French fries for onion rings that were awesome. Good service and nice themed place.

Customer service is always very good here and they have a relaxing and fun atmosphere. Good menu with plenty of seafood and land options. Food is more Southern style and we have never been disappointed. Great crab cakes and seafood boil. Also recommend the deconstructed fish tacos. Full bar is good to have too.

As soon as we entered we were greeted and shown to a table. The Calamari appetizer was OK but breading needed to be crispier. The Shrimp Boil was very good and our son liked his Fish Wrap, even though we usually have trouble getting him to eat seafood he ate it all. The decor is nice and they had live music going on which sounded fun, but we just sat inside at the front.

Quite good but not great. Our server didn't seem to be into it and he lacked enthusiasm. The batter was soggy and needed cooking more and we found most items over salty, and the blackening season was way too heavy. We did like the spicy crab dip and their key lime pie is very good.

We loved the food here and received excellent service. I wish I had gotten our server's name because she really made a big effort. The atmosphere is nice and coastal and is a great place to relax with some delicious seafood and drinks.

Although kind of pricey JT's has a very good bouillabaisse and the oysters are always worth ordering. Nice staff and laid back shack atmosphere. Would like to see more creative or craft drinks from the bar.

Good place for seafood and non-seafood eaters. Oysters and the Shrimp Boil were awesome and my life liked the Carbonara with Chicken. We sat at a nice spot on the back porch and had good service.

I thought the beachy vibe here was nice and the bar was a great place to sit. I was a solo diner and got to chat with some people from out of town and enjoyed drinks and good food. I munched on a crab boil which had good seasoning and the crab was very meaty. Service was quick and friendly. I'd definitely do this place again.

I actually don't like seafood, so I reluctantly tagged along with some friends to JT's, but I ended up having an awesome meal with excellent service and good drinks in a cool atmosphere. I just had soup to start and a Cajun pasta dish with chicken which tasted amazing. I would never have guessed 😋😀

We love our seafood and are fortunate to have JT's close to our home... we never have a problem finding something to order and the food is always delicious. Even their non seafood dishes are excellent especially the pasta dishes. Servers are polite and work hard and they have a variety of inside and outside areas to dine.
Highlight of visit: The seafood broil is awesome and they make an amazing seafood bouillabaisse. The mac & cheese is their elevated version of the classic and is great with shrimp or lobster.

Hostess was welcoming and we sat near the front bar. Server came to us quickly and was friendly and chatty. I had a bowl of gumbo to start and the shrimp and scallops platter as an entree, and both were delicious. I thought everything tasted fresh and not too heavily slated or seasoned and the breading was just right. Liked the slaw and hush puppies too. Overall a nice relaxing restaurant with quality seafood and warm service. What else do you want?

Worth going just for the Gumbo and the Shrimp & Grits is great too. Even when busy the staff don't seem to sweat it and are very accommodating and just get everything done, and I like the rustic atmosphere. Husband often goes on his own and sits at the bar. Outside in the back is nice when warm.

JT's is back open again from today and dinner was excellent! It's nice and clean everywhere and our server was very enthusiastic. All of our dinners were very tasty and perfectly cooked. The shrimp and scallops platter is highly recommended. My son loves their Gourmet Mac & Cheese and the Cajun Fish Wrap.
